LG Arts Center revives its 2010 creation by choreographer Jung Young-doo.

‘A Seventh Man’ is a dance piece inspired by the book with the same title (1975) written by John Berger & Jean Mohr, which depicted the lives of migrant workers in Europe in the 1970s.

Jung's work focuses on the lives and the emotions of individuals in modern industrial society, and it is not confined to migrant workers in Europe or to a specific period of time.

It is a story of displaced people forced to leave their homes and families, about their separations, survival and struggles, freedom and oppression, as well as hope and loneliness.

Revisiting the theme and reconstructing the movements, Jung will prove that this work still resonates with our reality even after 11 years.
